… to become a person with superpowers (I read comics), what kind of powers would I have? Hrmm… a common one would be to have control of time. Another might be the ability to make money. Super fast? Super strong?

Guess if I could have superpowers, I’d like to have the ability to bring imaginations and dreams to life. Of course, a lot of us already are living our dreams but there are still so many of us who can’t. My limit would probably be that I can only use my ability once a day and the imaginations and dreams that come true to life from my ability, would also come with it’s own problems and issues. The fun thing would be that whoever wished it has to live with the issues and grow from it - thus making his/her dream a reality rather than an immediate thing that they can just un-wish.

So I’m saying to those who happen to read this… If you’ve got a dream - prepare to take in all the problems that come with it. Don’t just expect that "life’s gonna get better", oh yeah, it will. So will the problems get bigger. Don’t ever let it get you down though, you got to where you are BECAUSE God knew that you’d be able to handle it. Otherwise, He wouldn’t have put you there in the first place. So…

Keep on fighting for your dreams! I will for mine =D

Just thought of coming in and posting something. Haven’t done that for a while, have I? What’ve I got to say? Hrmm… no idea.

Let’s start with Singapore Idol.

It’s trashed. Again. What’s with the thing about "we’re not going to show faces cause it’s a singing competition after all" ? Hello?! WAKE UP! You’re on television. It’s more than a singing competition, if it was just a singing competition and faces don’t matter, do it on RADIO. You’re doing it on television cause you’re performing. Idol is singing + performing. Something this stupid only happens when a favourite disappears. What? Haven’t anyone realised the trend that the best singers rarely ever make it in the competition? Cause it’s NOT about singing only, it’s about performing. Being a crowd pleaser and a critic silencer.

Next, about my life.

Okay, at least I got that part off my chest. I thought it was just overkill with showing that on TV. Aaaanyway, my life’s busy. Period. I just finished National Day Parade and the week following I got to do Protection of Installations. I’ll miss 3 weeks of church because of it! Then after I’m done, I’ll be preparing to go overseas for another month for live firing experience. FOLLOWING that, after I come back, I prepare to go overseas again. So busy.

I’m learning how to be a co-worker with my colleagues. I’m not having a smooth ride thus far. It’s been bumpy. And man, I feel like a failure so often but I gotta keep going on. God’s been consistantly faithful. He lifted me up with a timely visit by Dr. A.R. Bernard and his sermons that always challenge me in my mind. The challenge for me personally is more of translating that knowledge and renewed mind into real action.

Okay, I’m done for now. Still got duty tomorrow. I’ll update probably some time when I feel guilty again when I get a comment that it’s getting dusty in here. Ha.
